Students are a valuable national asset. Because after all, students will be in control of the nation’s largest. They will address the development, process economy, upgrading the education system, and others. Therefore, students must have high motivation and potential, and learn with a high quality education as well, so that later they will be able to perform an important role earlier.
The government has actually been making various efforts to improve the quality of education. One-way is by changing curriculum until find the effective learning system. But unfortunately, the replacement of the curriculum that has been applied to education in Indonesia is still not able to reach the maximum point. It was not entirely wrong government. Indeed, it played a major role and become the most important link in the education system in Indonesia is educators (teachers).
Ideally, a teacher should be able to give instruction in a professional manner based on the curriculum set by the government. Say CBC (Competency-Based Curriculum). A teacher should be able to understand and explore the CBC itself first before he presented it to students. But in fact, in the process of teaching in many schools, even in schools and pre-eminent ones, are often seen students and teachers are equally confused. The teachers are confused about how he used to present material based on the CBC. While the student was also confused, because he has not been able to adapt to the way teachers teach is still considered foreigners. In these circumstances, the students learn so uncomfortable. As a result the material learned can not be digested properly. And test scores became worse. Worse, the teacher usually always blame the students alone. He considers his students dumb, unresponsive, or a student learning the wrong way. In fact, what actually happens is the wrong way of teaching. Teachers still do not understand what is required of students.
Problems like this will lead to sustainable impacts are quite dangerous. For example, at the end of the semester, teachers are still not able to provide all the material has borne during one semester. As a result, students are given a multitude of tasks. Imagine if all the teachers in one school deal thus, would have a negative effect on the students themselves. Students will feel stressed and declining learning motivation.
Already seen, from this trivial fact alone could have known the quality of education in our country. Supposedly, the stimulus quality of education must make education a top priority. Therefore, students in the present is a leader in the future.
